Roman-esque crumbled building. Took me a while because I can't commit to my work, but a lot of hours went into this, you'd probably never know unless you were to zoom in, in which you probably still wouldn't be able to tell. But still.. Hope you enjoy.
*edit - thanks
*also - I know the side of the building wouldn't hold up, but by the time I realized what I did it was a bit too late. Thanks though.

Ancient Ruins by ~June18th is a testament to the hours pixel artists spend on their craft. Zoom in and pay homage. (

I studied Old Greek and Latin for four years... I'm finally in college now, but I have one more year of Latin on my hands, but it's not so bad... And this little piece of art just reminds me of all the good sides (great ancient art + magnificent stories woven around the gods and heroes)...
A great example of taking a fairly simplistic structure and really bringing it to life. I love the detail and 'flaws' in the structure, like the broken supports.
I can't help but admire the time and effort (and straining of eyes) that pixel-artists under-go. Only full-view does this devination justice, and even then, you'd have to zoom right in to see all the fantastic details.
